Bike Week Events

Cycling UK continues to support the UK to cycle
This remains true during this difficult period with the ongoing threat of coronavirus Covid-19

Bike Week Events

There are lots of ways you can get involved; from holding an event for friends, joining a ride in your local area, to sharing your cycling experiences on social media.
Take part today

Up and down the UK there will be hundreds of organised cycle rides, cycle training for all ages, maintenance workshops and many more great events for people to get involved in, most of which are free!

If you are organising an event or activity, make sure you register it with Bike Week to take advantage of our free insurance* and be part of the nationwide event.

Once registered, you can also access useful materials and downloads which will help you promote your activities and make the most of your events.

* Terms apply. Please see Cycling UK’s Guidance Note for eligibility criteria for Bike Week public liability insurance cover.

Here’s some inspiration for events or activities you could hold:
  • Put on a ride with your friends and family to explore your local area and enjoy being outdoors
  • Join a local organised ride, a great way to make new friends and have fun
  • Host a bike breakfast at school, work or university to reward those who cycle in and encourage commuting by bike
  • Help others, if you're a dab hand at bike maintenance, why not give your friends or colleagues' bikes a safety check?
