About Bike Week

Cycling UK continues to support the UK to cycle
This remains true during this difficult period with the ongoing threat of coronavirus Covid-19

About Bike Week

Delivered each year by Cycling UK, in partnership in Scotland with Cycling Scotland, it encourages quarter of a million people to join in events, rethink their everyday journeys and switch to cycling as the most convenient way to get around.

Bike Week is about experiencing 'everyday' cycling - whether that's riding your bike to work, school, to the shops or just for leisure - to show how easily it can be part of your daily life.

As the UK’s awareness-raising week for cycling, it brings together everyone to celebrate the benefits of riding a bike, and to encourage many more people to take up cycling for the first time.

Hundreds of events take place all over the country, from beginner cycle training sessions to hundred-mile-long sportives, from maintenance workshops to bike breakfasts with colleagues.

There are lots of ways you can get involved and make Bike Week the week to get out on your bike whether you organise or attend an event or just get out a ride.
